Resources
Hatfield Marine Science Center

HMSC is a resource for Visiting Scientists and Marine Science Students, combining expertise, location and infrastructure, including a world-class seawater system, experimental wet labs, OSU’s Guin Library and a weekly seminar series. We hope that you will find this website a useful guide to the activities of the Center.

Marine and Coastal Opportunities

Marine and Coastal Opportunies (MACO) is Oregon State University’s central hub for marine and coastal opportunities, connecting students and faculty to all that the Oregon coast has to offer. We collaborate university-wide to provide valuable information and resources for learning, teaching, and exploring coastal environments and communities. At OSU, students experience the coast through courses, research endeavors, and engaging extracurricular activities. Our top-notch facilities, such as the Hatfield Marine Science Center, foster inclusive and cutting-edge learning environments. With a variety of programs and degrees to suit diverse academic interests and goals, we’re here to help you make the most of your coastal journey.

OSU Marine Team

The Oregon State University Marine Team is an interdepartmental collective of students, faculty and staff interested in marine research. Our goal is to provide opportunities for hands-on experience in marine sciences at OSU and/or Hatfield Marine Science Center.
